Story and History Of Ayudha Pooja:

  •     Ayudha puja is also observed or celebrated as a Saraswathi puja. Ayudha Puja or Saraswati puja is a Hindu religious festival that falls in October or September month, on the ninth day of the bright half of the moon’s cycle of 15 days. 
  •     Another important festival in the same month of September/ October is Navaratri. Navaratri is a small festival that is celebrated all over the world. On this day people observe fasting and pooja to get various good things. 
  •     This ayudha pooja is related to Navratri and golu. 
  •      In Ayudha and Saraswathi pooja, we celebrate goddesses Saraswathi and Lakshmi. Lakshmi and Saraswati’s goddesses are principles of Hinduism.

  •     Ayudha and Saraswathi Puja has a great women’s historical story. That is, in an ancient day there was a living demon who got a boon from Lord Brahman that he could only be killed by a woman. So he started massacring people. 
  •    In this difficult situation, all gods went to Lord Brahma to find a solution. After that to save people from this demon task assigned to Mahishasura. With all god’s power and weapons goddess, Durga Devi defeated and killed the demon. 
  •      After this devotional thing, this world gets free and harmony in mind.
